Resident Tutors

Required for September 2017

The School would like to appoint post-graduate Resident Tutors to work in our Boarding Houses. These are one year live-in posts and could be used as a stepping stone to a PGCE course.

Sixth Form Housemistress

Required for September 2017 or January 2018

This is an exciting opportunity to join Badminton School as a Resident Housemistress in our Sixth Form Boarding House, which currently houses girls in Year 12-13.

The successful candidate will lead a House team within a dynamic boarding environment.

Director of Academic and Pastoral Care (Sixth Form) 

Required for September 2017 or January 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the wellbeing and personal development of all the Sixth Form students at Badminton School.

The successful candidate will manage the students’ transition from GCSEs to A Levels, monitor their academic progress and pastoral care throughout the Sixth and work collaboratively with the Director of Higher Education and Professional Guidance (DHEPG) to enable, as far as possible, the students’ desired next steps.

Assistant Director of Music

Required for September 2017 or January 2018

We are seeking an outstanding musician to support the Director of Music and take a lead in key areas of the Music Department, in a school where musical expectations are very high. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified and highly-motivated teacher, and will be committed to enhancing extra-curricular provision and delivering the school’s vision for Music. A commitment to whole school life in this busy boarding school is vital.

Day Supervisor

(With responsibility for After School Care)

The main role of the Day Supervisor is to provide high quality care and supervision for the girls in the Junior School and will be first point of call if a girl is unwell. The Day Supervisor will supervise the girls during break and lunch times with opportunities to assist teacher in lessons.

This appointment is term-time only and working hours will be from 9.30am to 17.30pm daily.

Director of External Relations

As part of the Extended Senior Management Team the successful candidate will oversee the School’s communications, lead and manage the Marketing Team, the Development function of the School and also be the champion of the Friends of the School (including alumnae). They will also work closely with and contribute to the Admissions process. They will exhibit a passion for promoting a Badminton education, at both Junior and Senior School levels.
