Our Christmas Carol Service takes place in our Parish church
a short walk away from the school. Acorns 2 create a wonderful nativity tableau
whilst the Year 6’s impress us with their readings and the choir mesmerise the
parents and staff with truly wonderful singing.
Every pupil in the Acorns takes part in our Christmas play
which is performed on stage in the Senior School hall. Parents are invited to
enjoy the festive atmosphere whilst the staff ensure that none of the sheep

This event in the spring term gives our girls the chance to
show off their creative talents, as they perform poetry, singing, drama and
dance routines as well as entering competitions for handwriting and art. All
girls in both the Acorns and Juniors are invited to take part and earn precious
house points for their respective Houses.
A large scale musical production is staged
at the end of the spring or beginning of the summer term. All Junior pupils are
included in the cast with Year 6 taking the leading roles.
A music festival for the Junior pupils is
held in the summer term so that the girls can enjoy the experience of
performing in front of an audience and parents can see the fruits of the many
hours of music practice that have taken place over the year.
