Extra-curricular

Sport

The Junior School shares excellent sporting facilities with the Senior School.  All our facilities are on-site and include all-weather tennis and netball courts, astro hockey pitches and a gymnasium as well as our 25m indoor swimming pool.

These facilities not only allow us to provide a good number of physical education lessons throughout the school week but also enable us to offer a myriad of after-school activities such as judo, fencing, netball and hockey training, squad swimming and water polo.

The Junior School regularly hosts well attended hockey and netball tournaments as well as swimming galas for local schools.

Friday Afternoon Activities

At Badminton we believe it is important that the girls enjoy and achieve good standards in their academic studies. We also believe that they should be provided with opportunities to pursue and extend existing interests as well as taking on new challenges in order to broaden their experiences. Our Friday Afternoon Activities give our girls the chance to do just that. They are able to choose from a wide selection of sporting, academic, creative, musical and skills based activities which are provided on a half-termly or termly basis.

The Little Acorns and Reception classes have a programme of activities planned for them and we make the most of our wonderful outdoor space.

After School Clubs

Once lessons have finished, our Junior pupils have the opportunity to take part in clubs which are run by the teaching staff and by specialists. These take place from 4:10 (after our afternoon snack) until 5:00 pm when Prep commences. These clubs vary from term to term and offer activities such as Art Club, mosaic-making, orchestra, squad swimming training, French and Mandarin.
